We pride ourselves on our warm welcoming atmosphere, serving good quality drinks and food to both the local community and visitors to the village. We are a dog friendly pub and have a cafe open Monday's, Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's. So please join us for a drink and bring your best friend along...

The pub was rebuilt in 1803 which replaced a much older building, which had its own brew house and kiln.
Back to the present day, we have both BT and Sky sports showing over 4 large screens in the back sports bar.
To the front, we have our lounge. A place to sit and relax with a perfectly poured drink and maybe a bite to eat.

Coming into this series the hosts hadn't won a Test series since a 2-1 victory in New Zealand in December 2024. Since then they have had some disappointing results including a 2-2 draw at home to India that they had led twice in, as well as the 4-1 hammering in the Ashes in Australia at the start of 2026.

The sides shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in last season's corresponding fixture, with Sorba Thomas scoring the equaliser for the Potters after Jovon Makama had given Norwich the lead. Later in the campaign, the Stoke claimed a 2-0 win over the Canaries at Carrow Road, with Thomas again finding the net after Sam Gallagher had opened the scoring.
