Sam and the team welcome you to The Half Moon Inn, situated in the heart of Strensall. We pride ourselves on our warm welcoming atmosphere, serving good quality drinks and food to both the local community and visitors to the village. We are a dog friendly pub and have a cafe open Monday's, Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's. So please join us for a drink and bring your best friend along...
The pub was rebuilt in 1803 which replaced a much older building, which had its own brew house and kiln. Back to the present day, we have both BT and Sky sports showing over 4 large screens in the back sports bar. To the front, we have our lounge. A place to sit and relax with a perfectly poured drink and maybe a bite to eat.
Coverage of England v South Africa the second match in the three-game series, held at Lord's. The sides have not met here in this format since 2017, when South Africa prevailed by seven wickets. However, the Proteas' last one-dayer here was a losing effort two years later, when Pakistan overcame them by 49 runs in the ICC Cricket World Cup.
All the action from both teams' opening Group A FIFA World Cup qualifier, held at Stade de Luxembourg. The sides last met in the UEFA Nations League last year, when Northern Ireland claimed a 2-0 win at Windsor Park, before the nations shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw here. With two strong outfits in Germany and Slovakia also in the group and only one team guaranteed a place in the finals, both sides will see a winning start as imperative this evening

Denmark have qualified for the last two World Cups and will fancy their chances of doing so once again, while Scotland are aiming to reach the finals of the competition for the first time since 1998. The sides were also in the same qualifying group for the last World Cup, and both contests ended in 2-0 home wins

Mark Pougatch presents all the action from the FIFA World Cup Group K qualifier at Villa Park. England won June's reverse fixture in Barcelona in underwhelming fashion, with Harry Kane scoring the only goal of the game. They will expect to produce a much stronger performance in front of their own fans to boost morale ahead of a potentially difficult encounter away to Serbia on Tuesday.
Coverage of Bromley v Gillingham the League Two match at Copperjax Community Stadium. Bromley did the double over the Gills last season, prevailing 2-1 here and 3-0 at MEMS Priestfield Stadium, with midfielder Jude Arthurs scoring on both occasions

These teams both had difficult openers, with Belarus facing Greece in Athens and Scotland playing away to Denmark, and Steve Clarke's men face another potentially challenging assignment this evening, albeit at a neutral venue. The sides have not met since the qualifying campaign for the 2006 World Cup, when the teams drew 0-0 in Minsk, before Belarus claimed a 1-0 win at Hampden Park. However, having got a taste for major championships after qualifying for the last two European Championships, Scotland will be determined to reach their first World Cup finals since 1998 and to do so they will need to pick up points on their travels
Mark Pougatch presents all the action from the FIFA World Cup Group K match at Rajko Mitic Stadium. The teams last met in the group stage of UEFA Euro 2024, when Jude Bellingham scored the only goal of the game to give England victory. Another tough match for the Three Lions is anticipated, with their cause not helped by Bellingham's absence due to injury.

In the two previous T20 matches to take place here between these nations, England triumphed by 19 runs in June 2017, while South Africa claimed a 58-run win in July 2022. The hosts will go into this series with confidence after a 3-0 victory over West Indies in June, but the Proteas are likely to provide a sterner test
Coverage of the second Twenty20 in the three-match series at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester. There has only ever been one T20 match scheduled to take place on this ground between these teams, but that contest in September 2012 was hampered by heavy rain and produced no result after being reduced to nine overs per innings, but even that not being able to reach a conclusion
Coverage of Somerset v Birmingham Bears the quarter-final match at Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton. Somerset won 11 of their 14 matches and only finished second in the South Group owing to a lower net run rate than Surrey, who had an identical record. The Bears finished third in the North Group with a record of eight wins and six losses
Coverage of England v South Africa the third ODI in the three-match series, which takes place at Utilita Bowl in Hampshire. It's eight years since these nations faced each other here in a one-day international, and on that occasion England claimed a two-run victory after scoring 330/6 from their 50 overs and just managing to prevent the Proteas from surpassing that, as they finished on 328/5 in their reply
Coverage of Italian Grand Prix the 16th round of the season at Monza Circuit.
